Student Nurse Academic Peer Support (SNAPS)

SNAPS MENTEES
We are so excited to have you be a part of our Nursing program! We are happy to announce that we will again be running an organization called Student Nurses Academic Peer Support (or SNAPS for short). This organization allows the first-year nursing students (mentees) to be paired up with students in Year 2, 3, and 4 (mentors) for the purposes of them answering any questions you have (regarding classes, exams, and the program in general), sharing advice and their experiences, showing you campus resources and much more.
If you are interested in being paired up with an upper-year student, please click on the button below to apply. Once you have signed up, stay tuned for more information about the upcoming orientation.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Alexis Abou-Chalha, VP Student Affairs (aabouch3@uwo.ca).
Applications for 2020-2021 are now open!

SNAPS MENTorS
SNAPS is short for Student Nurses Academic Peer Support. This organization pairs first year nursing students (mentees) with upper years (mentors). The mentors will have the opportunity to guide their mentee throughout their first year, answer questions, share their experiences, provide advice, advise them of the campus resources, and much more. Apart from benefiting the first years, your commitment will enhance your leadership skills and you will be able to include this in your co-curricular record.
If you are interested in being a part of this organization, please click on the button below to apply. Once you have signed up, stay tuned for more information about the upcoming meetings/orientation.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Alexis Abou-Chalha, VP Student Affairs (aabouch3@uwo.ca).
Applications for 2020-2021 are now open!
the SNAPS APPLICATION DEADLINE is SEPT 19th, 2021.
